Between the public health emergency, closing of businesses and schools and stay-at-home orders, families were thrust into unfamiliar routines and lives were turned upside down. Grown-ups and children alike were faced with navigating brand-new ways of life. But even in the midst of all the uncertainty, what 2020 also provided was an opportunity; to reconnect, to slow down and to appreciate the things and the people that matter the most in our lives.
